Effective: 2026-10-19
This is the privacy policy for Kitchen Table, a household decision log for iPhone. It’s written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email me.
The one-sentence version: Kitchen Table doesn’t collect any data. Everything you write is stored in your own iCloud account, and only you and the people you choose to share with can see it.
What It Stores
What you write: your decisions (titles, notes, cost, vendor, dates, photos, follow-ups) and your money plan (its steps, targets and notes). There is no name, no email, no account and no profile.
It’s stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, so it can sync between your devices.
Sharing
If you share your household, the people you invite can see and edit it. That happens through Apple’s iCloud sharing, between your account and theirs. Nothing passes through anything of mine.
What It Collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. I (Aaron Aiken, the developer) have no server for Kitchen Table and can’t access anything you write.
Your Control
- Keep a copy any time, as a file you can save in Files.
- Remove everything by deleting the app, then removing its iCloud data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Kitchen Table.
Support
If you contact me for support, through the support page or by email, I’ll use what you send only to reply.
Children
Kitchen Table collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It is rated 4+.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the change will be stated plainly.
